Winter Weather Policy
As we enter the winter season, we want to ensure the safety and well-being of both our clients and therapists. In the event of inclement weather conditions, our counseling office has established the following policy:
Individual Therapist Communication:
Your assigned therapist will personally reach out to you in the event that a session needs to be canceled or transitioned to telehealth due to severe weather conditions. This communication will be made as promptly as possible to keep you informed.
Telehealth Option:
In situations where face-to-face sessions are not advisable due to weather-related concerns, the option to conduct your counseling session via telehealth will be presented. This ensures continuity of care without compromising safety.
Late Cancel Fee:
If you choose not to participate in a telehealth session when offered during inclement weather, and you decide to cancel late, a late cancel fee may apply. This fee is intended to help compensate therapists for the reserved time and the effort they have made to accommodate your needs.
Please be assured that the decision to cancel or transition to telehealth is made with your safety in mind. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this winter weather policy. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact our office.
Thank you for entrusting us with your mental health and well-being.
